SulfaCLEAN - Content as below and add the image SulfaCLEAN
Efficient removal of Hydrogen Sulphide (Hâ‚‚S) from raw biogas — especially when dealing with high-sulphur feedstocks like press-mud — is a persistent industry challenge. Traditional Hâ‚‚S scrubbing systems often fall short in performance, resulting in higher operational costs, accelerated equipment corrosion, and difficulty in meeting environmental compliance. These issues highlight the need for an advanced, efficient, and affordable solution that can ensure consistent performance and long-term system reliability.
Atrium Innovations’ SulfaCLEAN™ technology is a next-generation solution engineered to address these challenges head-on.

Designed for optimal performance and low operational expenditure, SulfaCLEAN™ delivers high Hâ‚‚S removal efficiency while maintaining flexibility across varying operating conditions. With a focus on scalability and reduced maintenance, SulfaCLEAN™ helps lower the total cost of ownership and enhances the sustainability of biogas purification systems—making it the smart choice for industries seeking dependable and economical gas-cleaning technology.
Renewable Dimethyl Ether (rDME)
In the rapidly evolving landscape of renewable energy, biofuels are increasingly becoming a focal point. While biodiesel, green methanol, and biomass-based hydrogen are widely explored, Dimethyl Ether (DME) emerges as an equally competent candidate in this scenario. Widely used in the chemical industry and as a heating fuel when combined with LPG, DME boasts favorable chemical and physical properties, including a high cetane number, low toxicity, and superior combustion efficiency. These attributes enable DME to produce fewer pollutants compared to conventional fuels. Additionally, DME can be synthesized from biomass, creating renewable DME (rDME), which offers several benefits.
Renewable DME (rDME) has many advantages: its liquid state at moderate pressures simplifies storage and handling; its high cetane number enhances combustion efficiency, leading to lower emissions; it is compatible with existing LPG infrastructure, reducing the need for extensive modifications; and it is carbon neutral, as its production from biomass generates biogenic CO2, making it environmentally friendly.
In support of a sustainable future, Atrium Innovation has partnered with CSIR-NCL and M/s. VSLP to establish a pilot plant for rDME production from biomass. This collaboration, formalized on June 24, 2024, during the OWOT program of CSIR, aligns with the NITI Aayog's green methanol economy initiative, advancing our vision for a greener, eco-friendly tomorrow

Liquefied Biomethane (LBM)
Liquefied Biomethane (LBM) is produced by cooling biomethane to cryogenic temperatures, converting it into a liquid state. This transformation enhances its energy density, making it a more efficient option for storage and transportation. Due to its liquid form, LBM occupies less space and can be stored at lower pressures, which reduces associated costs and logistical challenges. This makes LBM particularly advantageous for long-distance transportation compared to Compressed Biogas (CBG), which often requires high-pressure storage that limits its transportability.
Recognizing the potential of LBM, Atrium Innovations has acquired the technology to indigenize and deploy it commercially in India and Africa at affordable costs. The deployment of LBM technology is expected to significantly enhance the accessibility and practicality of clean energy across these markets.
Atrium Innovations is on track to achieve a significant milestone by the end of 2025 with the first commercial installation of an LBM plant in India. This installation will pave the way for broader adoption of LBM technology, contributing to the global transition towards cleaner and more sustainable energy sources.

Dual Fuel Solution for Vehicles

Atrium Innovations, in collaboration with renowned dual fuel kit manufacturers, is working on development of a dual fuel solution specifically for off-road diesel vehicles. This technology offers several benefits, including the ability to switch between diesel and CNG, maintaining the power and torque advantages of diesel, and significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions for a cleaner environment. Additionally, it can lower diesel consumption by up to 40%, cutting fuel expenses and reducing engine wear due to cleaner combustion with CNG.
Dual Fuel Technology combines the use of diesel and CNG in a single engine, where diesel acts as the primary ignition source, and CNG serves as a supplementary fuel. This system involves retrofitting diesel vehicles with components such as a CNG fuel tank, injectors, and an electronic control unit (ECU) to manage the use of both fuels. The engine is carefully calibrated to ensure the optimal timing and ratio of diesel and CNG, resulting in smooth operation and enhanced performance.
