Rajesh Date

Director

Rajesh Date is a distinguished leader in the renewable energy sector. With a strong background in engineering and technology, he has been instrumental in driving innovations in the field of biofuels and renewable energy. Besides Atrium, he is associated with Rely Greenergy Private Limited, Reliant Management Systems Private Limited.

He began his notable career at Vanaz Engineers Ltd., where he worked on a range of Projects. Later, he ventured into biofuels, holding key positions at Pentagen Biofuels Pvt. Ltd. and several other companies. Under his leadership, Primove Engineering has developed and patented AgroGas technology, a process for producing second-generation BioCNG from agricultural waste.

Rajesh's extensive experience includes involvement with multiple companies in the renewable energy and technology sectors, reflecting his commitment to sustainable development and innovation. Rajesh brings his extensive experience in biofuel technology and project execution to the Atrium Innovations. His proven track record in leading projects from concept to commissioning will undoubtedly add immense value to Atrium Innovations, enhancing its capabilities in delivering innovative and impactful solutions in the renewable energy sector.

Purushottam Shenoy

Pradeep Karandikar, MSc in Chemistry, brings over 34 years of extensive experience in the automobile and manufacturing industries, with a notable focus on paint shop production and maintenance operations. He spent 18 years in the automobile industry. During the course of his career, Pradeep worked across functions and processes ranging from manufacturing engineering, managing paint shop processes and quality control. Further his expertise pans areas such as equipment and supplier selection, procurement, budget approvals, team selection, installation and commissioning. His expertise also includes continuous process improvements for cost, quality, and productivity enhancements, and defining specifications for utilities like compressed air, hot water, temperature and humidity-controlled air supply units. He is also skilled in the storage and distribution of fuels like LPG, propane, CNG, diesel, petrol, etc.

At Atrium Innovations, Karandikar's wealth of experience in the automobile and manufacturing sectors, along with his recent involvement in Agri-residue based Compressed Biogas (CBG) plant installation, positions him as a pivotal asset. His proven track record in process improvements, predictive and preventive maintenance, and equipment additions for new vehicle models will be invaluable in advancing Atrium Innovations' mission to develop sustainable and efficient biofuel technologies. Manish Salvi

Management Coordinator

With over two decades of experience in Industrial Electronics and IT, Manish is a dynamic leader and strategic thinker. An entrepreneur since 1998, he established Enterprise Systems in 2004, providing comprehensive IT solutions and services. Under his leadership, Enterprise Systems thrived for over 17 years, gaining a strong industry reputation. In 2021, Manish transitioned to the renewable energy sector looking after Business Development and Liaison at Primove Engineering, focusing on Compressed Biogas (CBG).

At Atrium Innovations, Manish’s visionary leadership, strategic thinking, and expertise in business development significantly contributes to advancing the company's mission in biofuel technology and sustainability. His proven ability to drive innovation and build strong strategic partnerships aligns perfectly with Atrium Innovations' goals, ensuring continued growth and success in delivering cutting-edge, sustainable energy solutions.

Kaustubh Pathak

Lead Program manager

Kaustubh Pathak, a seasoned professional with over 14 years of experience in Renewable Energy, brings a wealth of expertise to his role at Atrium Innovations. Focused on biomass-based energy, Kaustubh has spearheaded groundbreaking advancements in Bio-Hydrogen and Bio-CNG technologies, driven by his passion to achieve commercial viability and cost competitiveness against conventional fuels.

Kaustubh holds an MBA and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, complemented by his certification as an energy auditor. Throughout his career, he has held pivotal positions in globally renowned organizations such as Battelle India, Thermax, and KPIT, collaborating closely with company leadership.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Kaustubh has co-authored "INDIA’S PATHWAYS TO SUCCESS" alongside eminent figures like Dr. Raghunath Mashelkar and Dr. Vijay Kelkar. Additionally, his contributions to significant policy documents and reports, including "Progressive Maharashtra Policy Road Map 2019-2024" and "India's Emerging Competitiveness as Destination of Global R&D," underscore his commitment to driving impactful change on a broader scale.

Dr. Pushkar Marathe

Sr. Manager Process Engineering

Dr. Pushkar Marathe is a distinguished research professional with a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, specializing in the fast pyrolysis of lignocellulosic biomass. Currently, as the Senior Manager of Process Engineering at Atrium Innovations, he leads cutting-edge technology development for biofuels.

With over 12 years of international experience across Belgium, Netherlands, and Germany, Dr. Marathe has driven significant advancements in areas such as biodegradable polymer synthesis, heterogeneous catalysis, process intensification, chlor-alkali electrolysis, sour gas cleaning, and non-PET plastic recycling. His career includes impactful roles at Eastman Chemical, Demcon Suster, Bayer Material Science (now Covestro), and ThyssenKrupp Uhde (now TK Industrial Solutions).

In addition to his industrial expertise, Dr. Marathe has contributed extensively to academic research, with a focus on CO2 capture and reactive distillation during his tenure at ICT Mumbai and IIT Bombay. He has published seven peer-reviewed research articles in leading chemical engineering journals, showcasing his ability to bridge academic research with practical applications.

Dr. Marathe's profound expertise in reaction engineering, process simulation, and pilot-scale operations complements his hands-on experience, underscoring his ability to advance sustainable chemical engineering solutions. His commitment to innovation and sustainability makes him an invaluable asset in driving transformative projects at Atrium Innovations.

Dr. Swanand Joshi

Sr. Scientist

Dr. Swanand Joshi has conducted pioneering research on the purification and characterization of a novel self-assembling protein from marine yeast and its application as a biomaterial in biotechnology. With over a decade of experience in academia and industry, he has significantly contributed to teaching biotechnology and advancing research in fermentation biotechnology, biomaterials, and tissue culture technologies. Swanand's innovative work in bioinformatics, utilizing Python for genomic and proteomic analysis, stands out as a novel technique. His research on "Biochemical Processes for Synthesizing Nanoparticles Through Bioremediation" has been published in four international journals. He also holds a patent for a unique production optimization process.

During his eight years as a consultant and senior scientist in R&D at Primove Engineering, Dr. Swanand designed an optimized biomass-to-biogas conversion process without thermochemical pretreatment or chemical additives. As a senior scientist at Atrium Innovations, his expertise will be instrumental in adopting, optimizing, and standardizing biological processes for various biofuel technologies. His extensive experience and innovative approach in biochemical and biophysical analysis, along with his strong research background, will significantly enhance Atrium Innovations' capabilities in developing advanced biofuel solutions and sustainable technologies.
